To help you plan your reading list for 2020, the Voleo team has shared a few of their favourite Business & Finance books.  Some of these are more recent and some of them have held the test of time! As the adage states, knowledge is power and one great way to gain knowledge is through reading books with different views and opinions. Happy reading!

 1. The Warren Buffet Way by Robert G. Hagstrom

The Warren Buffet Way

“Just as work expands to fill available time, corporate projects or acquisitions will materialize to soak up available funds;”

The greatest challenge to emulating Buffett is not in the selection of the right stocks, Hagstrom writes, but in having the fortitude to stick with sound investments in the face of economic and market uncertainty. "The Warren Buffet Way" explains the psychological foundations of Buffett’s approach, thus giving readers the best roadmap yet for mastering both the principles and behaviors that have made Buffett the greatest investor of our generation.

 2. How to Win at the Sport of Business: If I Can Do It, You Can Do It by Mark Cuban

“Success is about making your life a special version of unique that fits who you are—not what other people want you to be.”

In "How to Win at the Sport of Business" Cuban tells his own rags-to-riches story of how he went from selling powdered milk and sleeping on friends' couches to owning his own company and becoming a multi-billion dollar success story. To find the keys to greatness for his book "Good to Great", Collins's 21-person research team read and coded 6,000 articles, generated more than 2,000 pages of interview transcripts and created 384 megabytes of computer data in a five-year project. The findings will surprise many readers and, quite frankly, upset others.

5. Never Split the Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It by Chris Voss

Taking emotional intelligence and intuition to the next level, "Never Split the Difference" gives you the competitive edge in any discussion.
